Gift Ideas for 7 Year Old Boys

My son is 7 this year and so I know exactly what a 7 year old boy would like. At least I know what an active boy who isn't much into superheroes but loves video games and playing with toys and his friends likes!
Boys can sometimes be a challenge to buy for and I actually found it more difficult to decide on gifts for my son when he was 5 and 6 years of age cause he was still too young for some of the challenges of more popular toys such as Lego. But now that he's 7 he can build Lego toys on his own and he can follow rather simple instructions that come with other toys.
I have also found though that some of the toy manufacturers have gotten smart and couples their products with popular brands of either video games or movies. The combinations are perfect and have really sparked excitement in my own son.
